We provide a coordinated system of comprehensive services to promote aging in place. With our experienced and highly trained caregivers, you or your loved one will get the necessary assistance needed at home to maintain a safe, independent, and enjoyable lifestyle.
Unique Care Plans (Ongoing) – after the initial assessment, we design a personalized care plan based on your lifestyle, medical needs and any preferences in order to best meet your needs. Further, your care plan is a living document that is evaluated on an ongoing basis to better meet your needs.
Caring Companionship – friendly and supportive conversation is essential to improving and maintaining the emotional well-being of many seniors. Listening or simply reminiscing can enrich the lives of seniors – physically, emotionally, socially and mentally.
Monitoring Vitals (BP, Blood Sugar, etc) – working with you and your physician we can customize a Caretracker™ to keep track of those vital signs necessary to help manage and improve your health.
Bathing/Showering Assistance – bathing and toileting are essential to maintaining good hygiene and simply making you feel good. We understand how important this ADL (activity of daily living) is and caregivers are ready to assist throughout the process. From standing by in case of emergency to providing a full bath or shower, we are here to help.
Toileting Assistance/ Incontinence Care – requires patience, sensitivity and gentle care. Our caregivers are specifically trained to help with these issues in a caring, compassionate and dignified manner so you always feel comfortable.
Personal Care (Grooming/Hygiene) – taking pride in one’s personal appearance is vital to maintaining good hygiene and boosting one’s self-esteem. Caregivers can assist in helping you with your hair, oral hygiene, applying make-up, dressing and more.
Bedbound Care (Transfers/ Positioning) – our caregivers are specially trained in caring for patients that have limited mobility and are bedbound. Beyond proper transferring and positioning techniques, caregivers are skilled at ensuring proper weight distribution, pressure points, posture, proper breathing, digestion as well as skin care.
Medication Reminders – while not licensed to administer medications, caregivers can (with consent/direction) remind and assist clients when to take their medications.
Medical Appointments/ Errands – we can assist with getting you around to do your normal activities such as shopping, going to the beauty salon/barbershop as well as doctor appointments. Caregivers can also run errands such as picking-up medications or stopping by the grocery store/ post office.
Meal Preparation/ Nutritional Guidance – we can help with all aspects of meal preparation based on your specific needs/ preferences. Caregivers are specially trained in the dietary needs of diabetics and those requiring the heart healthy diet. Case managers can also provide nutritional guidance and support.
Light Housekeeping/ Laundry – caregivers can vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, wipe-down the kitchen / bathroom as well as wash and iron – all according to your preference.
Ambulation, Mobility, Exercise Assistance – being able to move is essential to maintaining an active and independent lifestyle. In addition to improving circulation (wound care, reducing arthritic pain), exercise and mobility can relieve stress and improve mood. We can encourage and assist in this vital ADL, from walks to assisting with low impact range of motion exercises.
Pet Care – many seniors find comfort in having pets but, need assistance in caring for them. Caregivers can help with many routine pet owner tasks such as feeding and walking.
